SAP revamp

CLSS has successfully carried out an SAP revamp exercise for largest private diary company in India. The SAP revamp includes a wide range of change management to the whole system starting right from restructuring of organizational units, integration with the modern cutting-edge technologies both from procurement and distribution end, development of critical operational reports such as mass balance, material ledger and costing enhancements in order to generate management MIS on the same day of financial closure of books each month.

Returnable packaging

Diary industry operates with huge number of returnable packaging material for their distribution of products. CLSS has developed a mobility solution integrated with SAP by which the company can have a complete track on the inventory of returnable packaging material at various partner locations. The mobility solution is operated by the truck operators carrying dairy products and the inventory handed over and received back from each partner is recorded in the device and the receipt for the same is printed and handed over to the partner. The mobility solution is roughed enough to be handled at the field in extreme conditions and is very simple to use.

Mass balance

Dairy industry has the need to measure and maintain inventory at multiple ingredients level. For example, Fat and SNF (Solid Non Fat). The production variance of the semi-finished and finished dairy product are to be calculated at these individual ingredients level and the same is referred as mass balance. Mass balance is a very critical measure for Dairy industry for their profitability. CLSS has delivered a custom solution over a standard report for the mass balance by which one can analyse the variance at the root/production order level.

Partner portal

A partner portal is being developed by CLSS for a leading Dairy company in India. The partner portal will help to better engage with the business partners by exchanging information on time to the right target. The partner portal also brings in complete transparency on the transaction details and the outstanding status which the business partner can themselves check by connecting through their system or mobile phone. The partner poral will also reduce the communication workload on the field force and back officefor the exchange of information to the business partners.
